What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is an ancient science that correlates reflex areas in the feet and hands to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body. Reflexology is a form of preventative healthcare. Stimulating these reflexes properly can naturally assist with alleviating many health problems. Doctors and healthcare providers agree that at least 75% of our health challenges can be linked to nervous stress and tension. Reflexology provides soothing relaxation as well as improving nerve and blood circulation, thus helping body systems to normalize. Reflexology should not be confused with massage.

WSA 207-hour Reflexology Certification Program covers:

  • Reflexology Theory
  • History
  • Zones
  • Reflex Points and Relaxation Response
  • Contraindications
  • Body Systems related to Reflexology
  • Anatomy & Physiology
  • Business practice involving ethics, business standards and local/state laws

The teachers at BMS are caring and knowledgeable, and the small class sizes mean a lot of 1-on-1 attention!

The best school I have ever been to, and locally owned. Awesome teachers and staff, our group had a lot of fun! They helped me find me a job immediately with an awesome spa, and have answered any questions I had post graduation. If you are looking for a new career as a massage therapist I highly recommend Bellevue Massage School.
