We are a busy neighborhood spa in the Totem Lake area of Kirkland that offers massages, facials and body wraps. As a member of Mountain Sun Massage & Skin Care, you will be supported with a well-organized work environment and an intimate team of great coworkers. You will have plenty of time to greet your client, do a thorough intake, perform an excellent massage, check out your client, and still have time for a stretch or a snack before your next appointment. We are a therapist-owned business, and believe in taking care of our staff's unique needs so they can give their best to their clients. We'd love to hear from you!
Skill Set/ Requirements:
• Punctuality, professionalism, and your own, reliable transportation
• Current Washington State License and liability insurance
• Must support a consistently warm and friendly atmosphere; you are the face of our spa when interacting with clients
• Open to receiving ongoing training and feedback
Massage Therapist:
• Good SOAP charting practices
• In-network participation with Insurance companies a plus, but not required
• Able to do deep tissue massage
• Training in other modalities welcomed, especially pregnancy and hot stone
• Reliable transportation
Schedule
• Must be available Saturdays plus 1 to 3 other days per week
• Part-time position has the potential to turn into a full-time position if desired by both parties
Compensation
• Starting at $30 per service hour + tips. This averages to $40 to $50 per service hour. Pay raise considered after successful completion of 3 month probation period.
• Paid training
• Hiring bonus of $500 - $250 upon hiring and $250 after 3 months
• Up to $300 continuing education reimbursement per year
• Yearly profit sharing bonus
